"Young Family" insurance program
La Capitale General Insurance had parents with young children in mind when it created the "Young Family" insurance program. Young families can enjoy substantial savings for each child under the age of 13 when they sign up for a new car and home insurance policy from La Capitale. Because families can always use a little more.

Based on our extensive experience in the insurance field, we can attest with certainty that adults with young children have proven themselves to be foresighted, responsible individuals, who take the safeguarding of their property and their family members' safety to heart. It is with this perspective that we offer you some financial assistance by reducing your insurance premiums according to the number of young children in your family.
We won't insist on having it all
To benefit from the savings offered by the "Young Family" insurance program, you do not have to purchase both insurance policies with La Capitale. The discounts for automobile and home insurance are offered independently of one another. We certainly understand that your needs for each product might be very different. Do keep in mind though that by choosing La Capitale for both products, you will save even MORE.
You are currently a La Capitale client?
The "Young Family" Program is offered on new home and automobile insurance policies. For example, if you only have your automobile insurance with La Capitale at the moment, you will have the opportunity to benefit from the "Young Family" Program for a new home insurance policy.
Are you a home and auto insurance policyholder with La Capitale? Unfortunately, the Program cannot be offered. However, when you first became a policyholder with La Capitale General Insurance, you likely had the chance to benefit from another new client promotion being offered at the time. It is with great appreciation that we reward your loyalty with each renewal by offering you the best insurance coverage available in addition to very competitive rates.
Terms
- To benefit from this Program on automobile insurance, you must choose full coverage for your vehicle.
- If you are an automobile insurance client with La Capitale, the addition of a second vehicle does not constitute eligibility for the Program.
- To benefit from the Program on home insurance, the insured property must be your principal residence. The addition of a second property does not constitute eligibility for the Program.
- The "Young Family" Program cannot be combined with any other promotion or offer, with the exception of the Internet promotion.
Considerable savings
For a first child who is younger than 13 years of age - La Capitale offers you a $50 discount on your automobile insurance premium and a $50 discount on your home insurance premium, for a total of $100.
For each additional child who is younger than 13 years of age- La Capitale offers you a $25 discount for each insurance product, $25 on your automobile and $25 on your home, for a total of $50.
Some examples:
Let's say you have two children, one is 8 years old and the other, 11 - Your automobile insurance premium is $550. You would save $50 for the fisrt child and $25 for the second, thus saving $75. The premium for your car insurance would then be $475.
- Your home insurance premium is $600. You would save another $50 for the first child and $25 for the second, thus saving a further $75. The premium for your home insurance would then be $525.
A grand total of $150 stays in your wallet. That is indeed much more than just pocket change!
Do you have more than two children under the age of 13? You can take an additional $25 off each product's premium and see your savings increase.
